Major undertakings in the pipeline

Heavy-hitting projects of substantial size, currently being executed or in the pipeline, each advancing one of the 7 Pillars.

Featured Project

The Basseterre Desalination Plant

The 2-million-gallon-per-day desalination plant at the Paul Southwell Industrial Park is one of the largest infrastructure undertakings under the Agenda. It will significantly enhance the availability of potable water for the Basseterre system and end the water rationing some domestic, commercial and industrial customers have faced.

It is joined by a 70,000-gallon-per-day solar-powered desalination plant built in collaboration with the UAE, now in commissioning, with desalinated water already integrated into the system for Frigate Bay and the Southeast Peninsula.
